Meike Schlemmer ist im Allgäu aufgewachsen und hat nach einem Abitur in Augsburg an der HAW Hamburg zuerst Modedesign, dann Illustration (BA) mit Auslandssemster in Bezalel (Jerusalem), studiert. Mittlerweile lebt und arbeitet PANYM 900km weiter nördlich in Kiel, wo sie nach dem Studium der Kunst (MFA) an der Muthesius Kunsthochschule als freischaffende Illustratorin und Künstlerin tätig ist.
